Habitats: Coast from Mira to Ovar, beaches, saltmarshes, cane thickets, saltpans, fish cultures, tidal mud flats, canals, riverside woodland, marshland and cultivated fields.
Main species: Common Scoter, Marsh Harrier, Purple Heron, Little Bittern, Little Egret, White Stork, Black-winged Stilt, Grey Plover, Eurasian Golden Plover, Northen Lapwing, Kentish Plover, Common Redshank, Greenshank, Dunlin, Black-tailed Godwit, Common Kingfisher, Yelow Wagtail, Grat Reed Warbler, Savi’s Warbler, Common Reed Bunting and Cirl Bunting.
