Habitats: Holm-oak groves, scrubland of rock-roses,  rocky outcrops, streams, weirs, riparian galleries, cultivated fields, pastureland and fallow land.
Main species: White Stork, Eurasian Griffon Vulture, Eurasian Black Vulture, Spanish Imperial Eagle, Red Kite, Montagu’s Harrier, Hen Harrier, Booted Eagle, Short-toed Eagle, Lesser Kestrel, Merlin, Common Crane, Great Bustrad, Little Bustard, Stone Curlew, Black–winged Stilt, Collared Pratincole, Eurasian Golden Plover, Northern Lapwing, Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Great Spotted Cuckoo, European Bee-eater, Eurasian Hoopoe, European Roller, Common Kingfisher, Calandra Lark, Thekla Lark, Red-rumped Swallow, Common Nightingale, Rufous Bush Robin, Black-eared Wheatear, Melodious Warbler, Southern Grey Shrike, Woodchat Shrike, Azure-winged Magpie, Common Raven and Spanish Sparrow.
